School has been going well. This is the first fall in the past many that has been more sweet than bitter for me.
The classes have been interesting, and I’ve been learning a lot from each of them. Even the one on Microsoft computing, though I’m still a Linux gal. I’ve been learning how to write a decent thesis statement, the difference between pinocytosis and phagocytosis, how medical terms are constructed, and how to put a TED stocking on a resident without those two little cross wrinkles forming in the middle of my brow.
Test-out for NA class is coming up soon, and that’s nerve-wracking. On the bright side, my daughter and I were both hired by an outstanding facility, and we will be working the same nights. Meanwhile, we’ll be practicing for our skills test (part of test-out) around essays, quizzes, labs, and one more clinical. Everything should be falling into a more comfortable pace after this week.
Should be.

Thank you for that encouraging thought- it’s much appreciated.
Especially today, while I’m practicing for the test and feeling very nervous, as well as cramming for other subjects. Only so many days left before overnight shifts start.Speaking of overnights, have you found the formula for a perfect balance of sleep, work, and play? How are you doing?

I’m okay … somehow got scheduled for a 6 day stretch of work … won’t have a “real” day off till tomorrow at 7am.
Work and sleep are balancing fairly well this week. Play … well two out of three i guess :-/
I hope the test (and everything else) goes well! Since you and I will both be on overnights, I guess we’ll be our own little vampire coven or something

Sounds like your doing well Chell, gratz on your new adventures and on all the kiddos graduating! My youngest graduated last year and turned around and got married against our advice but that is a whole other story LOL. Anyway just thought I swing by some of my old “reads” and see if any CP gal’s we’re still writing =)
