Squash seems to grow any ol' where in our yard, so accidentally dropping a seed might or might not be a good thing.

What's buggin' me? That I didn't even know these were in the yard. The tomatoes seem fine. This HUGE tomato hornworm (has less spots than a tobacco hornworm) was hangin' out on my daughter's bicycle tire, evading the day's heat.

I was trying to catch "the bass that got away" in the Minnesota River, but this 21 inch bundle of teeth stepped, er, swam in.

I love sunflowers for the birds, bees and butterflies they attract, so swatches of them are here and there around the yard. This is the tallest mammoth sunflower this year. Finally, something taller than my son!
