I love finding these tiny treasures!

Well, how ’bout that? I managed to get all of the button quail chicks in one photo – yay! And they aren’t speed blurs.

At first, I just wanted a bread recipe that I could bake with our quail eggs. The recipe has evolved, and it’s tasty!

Considering the age and accompanying condition of the first bird I ever hatched, my perfectly marked, big, good-natured jumbo wild type rooster, I really wanted at least one of the eggs from his bin to hatch.

The new additions to our family are so tiny!
