While I waited to pick my daugher up after an outing, it was the perfect chance to enjoy a quiet sunset in the park.
The work that is blocking off part of the park is supposed to be finished this month, but I wonder. My dog has been nudging the truck door every time we go for a walk around town, hinting that it’s time to take her back to Ramsey Park too! It’s a beautiful time of year.
We had a wonderful family picnic in Ramsey Park yesterday. The weather was absolutely perfect for it. I baked lasagna for it, and grandbaby had fun finding colorful eggs around all the trees. Thankfully, the whole immediate family could make it. Photos are here.
Boy! When things go right, they really go right! After a time of such stress, every last little thing turning into a hassle, and my mood reflecting it all, everything clicked right into place today. I took a walk through Ramsey trying to fix a sore back, and that felt good too, at least at the time. Such a pretty day. There were lots of critters out, soaking up as much sun and pollen as they could after a cool morning. A lil’ snake zipped onto the walkway and under my foot, then into the brush on the other side. He left only enough time to think not to step down, but not to take a pic. Other pretties and creatures were more cooperative. These thumbnails lead to their bigger pics in my gallery.
There’s a pill called “Ignoritol” on tonight’s “Simpsons.” Sounds like something to have on hand for days that aren’t like this. But I’m looking forward to a calm evening or a few, and reclaiming my space. 
Took a few pics of the Falls today. The road through the park is closed due to flooding, and the water is still barreling along. Visiting gets my heart pounding at this time of year.
It was so nice outside today (now yesterday) that I couldn’t stand to stay home. So my youngest two and I went to Ramsey Park. I’ve been lazily stashing pics at MySpace, but here are some pics for my actual website. With it’s snazzy new(ish) media features, WordPress might be great for creating an album.
